About Helena

Helena has been working within the education sector for almost 14 years. This includes over eight years of Admissions at Regent’s University London. In her role at Regent’s as an Enrolment Conversion Officer,  Helena assists student applicants at all stages of the admissions process, from the initial enquiry stage right through to issuing the necessary documentation for visa purposes.    

Helena completed an MSc Economics at University of Economics in Katowice, Poland, before coming to the UK to embark on her employment journey. Before joining Regent’s in 2013, Helena worked at a British Council accredited school in London’s West End and, prior to this, worked at an independent higher education institution located in London’s financial district for more than four years.   

Helena is very proud of the fact that she has worked with students from all over the world. She is very passionate about her job and genuinely loves helping students achieve their goals. She also firmly believes in education as it can change lives. 

Helena’s area of expertise lies in EFL (English as a Foreign Language) Admissions. She has a keen interest in UKVI regulations related to international students.  

Outside of work she likes being the best auntie she can be to her niece and nephew. She definitely has green fingers and loves growing plants. Helena enjoys reading poetry and practising mindfulness. Helena also likes getting to know other cultures. She has a keen interest in other cultures as well as people of different cultural backgrounds. She is also an avid linguist and speaks four languages ranging from CEFR B1 to CEFR C2 level. 

Helena very much enjoys learning languages and believes that full fluency is a lifetime goal. She considers herself very lucky as she genuinely loves her job as it gives her the opportunity to meet new people from a variety of backgrounds.
