Yi Yang

Lecturer

Professional Biography

I have been teaching Chinese at Regent's University London for 5 years. Since the graduation from Nanjing University, I have been teaching Chinese at higher education in China and UK over the past ten years. The courses I have taught cover a wide range of levels and types with students of different cultural backgrounds, different age groups, and different walks of life.

My research interests include language planning and policy, teaching material development and comparative education as I am a tri-linguist, fluent in Chinese, English and Japanese. I am passionate about my teaching, which always centres around learners. In my spare time, I am a passionate player of the traditional Chinese musical instrument, Guzheng.
