Visas for Regent's School of English

Once you have booked an English language course with us and have made your course payment, we are going to issue a course acceptance letter that you can use to apply for a visa, if you need a visa to travel to the UK.

Please check if you need a UK visa here: https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa

If you are a visa national and your course is up to 6 months, you need to apply for a Standard Visitor Visa. Please see the info here: https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor

Nationals of certain countries need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) instead of a visa. Please see the information here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta

If your course is over 6 months and up to 11 months, you need to apply for a Short-Term Study Visa. Please see the information here: https://www.gov.uk/visa-to-study-english

Please ensure you apply for your visa well in advance.

It is not possible to study with us for longer than 11 months unless you have the right to live in the UK.

We do not sponsor English language students for a Student Visa, and we do not provide CAS. The only exception to this is if you hold a conditional offer for a degree course at Regent’s and you have been accepted on a pre-sessional course and you meet all the eligibility criteria.
