Free parking for registered NHS employees

NHS staff working at University College London Hospital will get free parking at Regent’s Park campus until at least the end of July.

The hospital – located less than a mile away from Regent’s Park – is on the frontline of the battle against COVID-19.

‘NHS staff are working around the clock to provide essential healthcare on the frontline of the pandemic, and this is the least we can do to support them,’ said Regent’s Director of Estates and Facilities, Alan Donnachie.

‘We’re pleased to be able to offer this small measure of support to help alleviate some of the enormous pressure,’ said Head of Security, Simon Murphy.

Regent’s hopes the move will allow more NHS staff to work at once, and alleviate some of the congestion on public transport and local parking.

There will be 40 parking spaces available for NHS staff at any one time.

Regent’s Park campus remains open for critical business, and a number of parking spaces have been kept aside for essential University staff.
