A new government statement has announced the reinstatement of the two year post-study work visa, that was previously rescinded in 2012.
The new visa will be available to students who have successfully completed a degree at undergraduate level or above at a UK university. Currently, international students are given four months to stay in the UK to find work. The new policy change will allow students up to two years to work, or look for work, at any skill level.

'With more than 140 nationalities represented on campus, this new graduate route will enable our talented international students to remain in the UK after graduation, gaining beneficial work experience as they go on to become global leaders of the future.'
There is no cap on the number of applications and the policy is expected to benefit enrolments from the 2020/21 academic year.
