Professional Biography

Asif has a BA Honours degree in History and Politics from Swansea University. He also studied and trained to be a solicitor at Nottingham Trent University for two years. Asif's commercial and industry background is varied, including local government (Leicester City Council), insurance (Prudential) and telecoms (BT plc).

1995, he undertook an MBA at University of Leicester University. Since then, Asif has been involved in teaching HRM, Organisational Behaviour and Strategic Management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at a number of institutions, including Leicester University and City College, London, EBS London and Regent's University London. Asif is currently the Programme Director for the MBA in International Business at Regent's University London.

Asif has also been involved in executive training/consultancy, with the Agricultural Bank of China, the Agricultural Development Bank of China and the Park Royal Partnership, in London. Asif is also a trained facilitator and deliverer of ProfitAbility©, a board based business simulation designed to help managers make the link between business decision-making (marketing, production, pricing, strategy, etc.) and the impact of these on Finance and company performance.
