Dr Karuna Gomanee

Dr Karuna Gomanee is a Senior Lecturer in Economics and a Fellow member of the Higher Education Academy.  Since she joined Regent’s University London in 2004, she has taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.  As a module leader, she has taught a range of modules (including economics, marketing, research methods) and has been involved in all aspects of academic education - curriculum development as well as designing, delivering and assessing modules.  She has also supervised dissertations at both undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as business projects and business start ups.  She is currently also a supervisor on Regent’s PhD programme.

Karuna believes in continuous development and also strives to contribute to Regent’s mission.  These have led her to take up a number of non-teaching roles including Learning Design Champion, BAGM Finance Pathway Leader, member of AFE moderating panel, AFE Departmental Library Liaison, Member of Academic Standards and Quality Assurance Committee, Member of Research Committee to Senate.  She is currently serving as Course Leader on four MSc Finance Programmes.  In this role, she has recently co-led (with the Director of Content) a team academic and professionals that validated these four MSc Finance Programmes. 

Several journal publications complement her academic record.  She often acts as a referee and reviews academic articles for various journal publications.
