Professional Biography

My passion for bridging the gap between academia and professional practice led me to Higher Education. In 2006, while pursuing my MBA, I concurrently served as the Marketing Manager for FM100, a prominent private broadcasting company in Pakistan. It became evident to me that my real-world experiences were contributing significantly to my MBA assessments, surpassing the insights gained solely from the academic setting.

As my practical expertise became recognized, I found myself invited into lecture rooms to share tangible examples of real-life marketing, infusing a sense of excitement and relevance into the academic space. The joy I experienced while introducing practical, experience-based marketing to rooms filled with inquisitive and brilliant minds led me to reconsider my career trajectory. I decided to pursue a path that brought me more joy – teaching marketing in higher education.

Fast forward to 2023, my expertise encompasses:

  • Designing, developing, and delivering curricula in on-campus, blended, and virtual settings.
  • Creating experiential and inclusive learning environments.
  • Implementing innovative assessment techniques and toolkits.
  • Guiding research journeys at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Infusing a sense of enjoyment and creativity into the learning process.
  • Approaching everything with an out-of-the-box mindset.

I am recognized for my unique ability to blend a strategic overview with meticulous attention to detail, resulting in successful outcomes.
