Professional Biography

Isabel is an MBA and PGCHE postgraduate manager and also a fellow member of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).  She has a strong background in teaching business management and marketing. She is passionate about teaching and has been training and coaching for many years as part of her management and marketing roles. Isabel intends to start a PhD in marketing research shortly.

Isabel is a full-time marketing lecturer at Regent's University London and also holds international teaching experience. Prior to this, she taught business, English and career skills both in Spain, Portugal and in the UK for over ten years.  Isabel has an excellent ability to build a strong rapport with students and staff at all levels, as well as engage with students and maximise their potential.
 

Alongside this, Isabel is also a business and career adviser skills trainer, coach and teacher who has developed programmes in line with company quality systems and approval, to ensure high standards of training and development. She also holds the FA Level 1 football coaching badge and can coach kids and teenagers.

Additionally, Isabel is a highly experienced operations, marketing and training manager with over 15 years experience in different business areas such as FMCG, retail and professional services. She possesses very strong leadership, strategic thinking and planning skills, sound business acumen, strong people management skills and is very commercially focused.

Over the course of her career, Isabel has gained extensive experience in management, marketing, branding, promoting and selling products and services, as well as customer acquisition and retention. She is also highly experienced in business, PR, retail, hospitality and customer care, including counselling skills.

In Portugal, where she previously lived, Isabel was a radio sports broadcaster and used to interview personalities such as the national president and prime minister, football players and artists.
