Overview
Regent’s graduates are highly entrepreneurial – with around one-third running their own start-up just months after graduating – so it isn't hard to find others with the same drive. Luke Shelley and Marcus Ereira did just that and co-founded not one, but two thriving London business.
‘Regent’s offered a great opportunity to learn from like-minded, ambitious people, and be exposed to an array of methods that have taught me to think outside the box,’ Luke commented.
‘After studying together at Regent’s, our business partnership naturally fell into place. We have different attributes but we work well together and bring the same attitude to running a business and achieving our shared goals,’ the pair said.
‘I had friends that went to the University and had heard great things about the BA (Hons) Global Management course. I always knew that I wanted to set up my own business eventually, so it just felt right.’
After setting up their first business together in 2014 – one of the largest private tutoring agencies in the country – the pair decided to change direction and follow their dream of 'making tomorrow more fun than yesterday' by launching Central 23, a product development studio in London that creates a variety cards, puzzles and notebooks that aim to 'make life a little more fun'.
