Professional biography
Born in Cyprus, Rachel has also lived in France, the United Kingdom, Greece and Spain, cultivating a rich cultural skillset.
As an Art Director for luxury fashion, lifestyle and culture, she's worked internationally with prestigious and niche brands since 2010.
Focused on enhancement and innovation, she's developed design, image, stories and experiences for brands – in-house, agency-side and freelance. Her multidisciplinary practice and consultancy spans across brand identity, photography and film, magazine, online, events and journalism.
Rachel has taught fashion, media and communications with a focus on portfolio development and professional practice at world-renowned institutions, such as the Institut Français de la Mode and London College of Fashion. She's also led and delivered knowledge exchange and industry projects; interdisciplinary course collaborations; and showcase and recruitment events to enrich faculty portfolios and nurture students’ skills.
She is genuinely driven to support students achieve their potential by aligning their talents, personalities and careers.
Rachel graduated with a Major in Image from the Institut Français de la Mode in Paris, as well as a BA (Hons) Fashion Design from the University of the Creative Arts in the UK. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching for Higher Education from the University of the West of England, and a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
