You can join us for a term in either the autumn or spring, or for an intensive summer programme.
We welcome applications from students nominated through our partnership network, as well as applications from independent study abroad students who wish to study at Regent's for a short period of time as part of their degree.

*If you submit your application by this deadline, your place on our study abroad and exchange programme will be guaranteed, provided entry requirements are met and all required documents are submitted. Late applications can be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Nomination process for Spring term 2024
If you're applying via an institution that's part of our partnership network, or via an agent, you'll need to be nominated by your home university or agent to take part in our study abroad and exchange programme. Your home university/agent should fill out this nomination chart and return to studyabroad@regents.ac.uk by Wednesday 08 November 2023.
Please note: Free-movers not studying at one of the institutions in our partnership network and applying independently are not required to complete this step. Please enquire now and we can send you the link to the online application form.
Application process for Spring term 2024
When the nomination has been received and accepted, you'll receive an email from our team with an application link and instructions.
You will need to have the following documents ready to upload during the online application:
- Copy of an official updated academic transcript
- Copy of passport (photo page only) or ID card
- Personal statement (only for free-movers applying independently or via an agent)
- Proof of English: a copy of one of these English language tests – please also refer to the UKVI website for more information and exceptions.
If documents are not issued in English, we require both the original and an official English translation.
Choosing your modules
You must include your module choices in your application in order of preference. The new module lists for Spring 2024 are available on the Study Abroad and Exchange Modules page.
What happens next?
You will receive your offer letter within 4 weeks of submitting your application, provided all documents have been received by the application deadline.
To accept your offer, you'll be required to pay a 1000 GBP deposit (1-term programme) or 4000 GBP (2-term programme) at the time of acceptance.
If your home institution pays Regent’s on your behalf, you'll have the option to accept or decline your offer in the student online portal. If you accept your offer, your home university will be invoiced for the full deposit amount.
We also recommend you apply for on-campus housing as soon as possible. You'll need a student ID number to complete your on-campus housing application, which you'll receive after submitting your study abroad/exchange application.
Study Abroad modules
You should choose your modules when completing the online application. The maximum credit load allowed for each academic term (spring and autumn) is 30 ECTS. It is your home university’s responsibility to determine the credits’ equivalency.

You can pick modules from all subject areas (Acting, Business & Management, Fashion, Film Production, Finance, Interior Design, Liberal Arts, Media & Advertising, Psychology, Psychotherapy, UX Design) but it's recommended to take modules from the same area and level (year) to minimise timetable clashes.

Accommodation
Regent’s offers on-campus accommodation in Reid Hall residence.
A meal allowance is included in the accommodation cost and is issued on the student’s ID card. This is a declining debit system and can be used to buy food or non-alcoholic drinks from the food outlets on campus. You can top up credit at your own cost.
You will receive the housing application link as part of the study abroad and exchange application package. A Regent’s student ID number is required to complete your housing application, which you will receive after completing your study abroad application.
