EU/EEA nationals do not currently require a visa to study in the UK. For more information regarding Brexit, please see our EU & EEA Students immigration guidance link and the Brexit website.
Rules and regulations set by the UK Government change regularly and it is important that you check these. It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with these regulations before entering the UK. You must also inform yourself about the rules if you wish to travel further afield than the UK.
You can check what type of visa you need at the UK government website. Check if you need a UK visa.
Non-EU nationals studying for 1 term (less than 6 months):
If the ‘Check if you need a UK visa’ website has instructed you that ‘you do not need a visa to come to the UK’ this means that you won’t need to apply for a visa in advance; however, if you are coming to the UK to study for less than 6 months and are from a non-European country, you need to make sure you are seen by a UK Border Force Officer when you arrive in the UK in order to obtain a Short-term stamp in your passport. In order to obtain the correct stamp, you will need to provide the Border Force Officer with a copy of your acceptance letter from Regent’s University London.
Important information: If your nationality allows you to go through the eGates, but your passport is from a non-European country, DO NOT use the eGates on arrival otherwise you won’t receive a stamp on your passport.
You should be aware when booking your flights, it is important that you DO NOT arrive to London via the Republic of Ireland.
