Founder

Based in London and Turin, Carlo is founder of flyRen Energy Group, a venture dedicated to direct investment, asset management and development in the renewable energy arena. The company owns and manages renewable energy assets (solar, wind and storage power plants) and advises several utilities and international funds in the energy sector.

In 2019 he was named as Honorary Consul in Piedmont for the Republic of Moldova and became a prominent member of the Italian angel venture Club degli Investitori and a mentor for young entrepreneurs in London's Techitalia Lab. He's also a former member of UNIVA (Unione Industriali di Varese), part of the Italian Industrialist Union, and ex-President of the Club Torino London, a gathering of the Turinese personalities living in London.

Along with his father Giorgio and his mother Rosalba, Carlo is a prominent philanthropist, having founded of a non-profit foundation, the 'Fondazione Garuzzo' (IGAV) promoting young Italian artists around the Globe. In 2017, IGAV was invited by Chinese president Xi Jinping as a representitive of Italy during the Silk Road events and in 2018, it was invited to the Italian Republics’ President Mattarella mission to Georgia.
