About this event
In the year that Chanel celebrates 100 years in the UK, and welcomes the arrival of a new Artistic Director of Fashion, Elizabeth Angles d’Auriac, the President of Chanel UK Region, shares her vision of navigating the joys of contradictory flows of time at Chanel – from accelerations to pauses – for the House’s longevity and desirability.
Founded by the disruptive female entrepreneur and creator Gabrielle Chanel in 1909, Chanel is the leading luxury House today, with an unrelenting focus on women that has continued to thrive for over a century of radical change in society. As the House looks ahead to its next century, Elizabeth poses the question: how do you create such longevity by seamlessly driving contradictions of time for brand equity strength?
Synchronising Chanel’s creation, craftmanship and culture over time and on a daily basis requires strong codes, values and leadership. During her talk, Elizabeth will share insights into the joys of working for the brand’s strength over the next century with the daily adrenaline of creation, retail and communication.
Please arrive at least ten minutes early (by 12:50 pm) to allow us to start promptly.
