'Living and studying at Regent’s has taught me how to communicate and build relationships with a global community.'

Kevser Taşel Jurkoviç graduated from MA Management (Marketing) in 2011 before pursing a PhD in Marketing in her home country, Turkey. Now, as an academic at the Final International University, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Kevser appreciates just how impactful her tutors at Regent’s were on her professional and personal development.

'From the very start, Dr Eric Chan told our class 'you’re the future global leaders', and it wasn’t just the course material we learnt, but also how to present, network, and express ourselves.'

Kevser continues, 'the student experience was well-structured and supportive throughout. I didn’t feel alone, but part of something. This wasn’t just inside the classroom, but in our project groups, trips, and business simulations. All these specific moments and experiences have impacted and shaped my life.'

Recalling the Bramley Lake leadership weekend and the business simulation project that her team won, Kevser explains, 'Regent’s created an environment in which we were able to grow and prosper.'

Above all, though, it was the people that made Regent’s special for Kevser. 'There were over 30 nationalities in my course group of 40 students. Immediately we had a social, young, professional network. In fact, we're all still in a WhatsApp group today!'

To those considering studying at Regent’s, especially MA Management, Kevser says 'if you’re looking for an international and dynamic course, great people, job opportunities in London after graduation and the chance to become a citizen of the world, Regent’s is a good place to start.'
