2017/18 Regent’s schools competition winners announced

Out of a total of 39 entries across the four competitions – fashion, interior design, acting and filmmaking – for Regent’s University London’s international competitions 2017/18, submissions were shortlisted to three per category, before featuring at the graduating students’ end of year designs shows.

Open to pre-degree students in schools and colleges around the world, this year is the first for the Interior Design, Acting and Filmmaking competitions, joining the pre-established Fashion competition.

Judged by Regent's academics - all experts in their own fields - shortlisted entries were shown at their correlating Regent’s graduate show, and where possible, winning students were invited to attend the graduate show relevant to their discipline, as well as receiving a book prize from Bloomsbury Publishing for both the student and their school.

At the interior design exhibition held at the Department Store in Brixton, winners and runners up of the Regent’s Interior Design Competition 2017/18, In-Between Spaces, had their work displayed alongside Regent’s students. Participants researched an ‘in-between’ space in their local community, and designed a space in which people could dwell.
