Regent’s alumnus and luxury American fashion designer, Christian Siriano, debuted his Spring/Summer 2022 ready to wear collection at New York Fashion Week this month.

His spring 2022 collection included a diverse range of models and size inclusivity. The evening wear styles ranged from textured lace and clean-lined pant suits to voluminous citrus toned pieces.

Christian studied BA (Hons) Fashion Design at American Intercontinental University London (AIU), which became part of Regent’s University London in 2013.

His lecturer, Professor Gill Stark, Regent’s Associate Provost, said: ‘Christian was a very talented student. He was highly driven and always exceeded what was required of him. With his bold creativity, his impressive capacity to create and his unwavering eye for the promotional power of the catwalk, I am not at all surprised to see that his latest collection has generated so much media attention. Congratulations Christian!’

Whilst studying in London, Christian interned at British fashion powerhouses from Vivienne Westwood to Alexander McQueen.

His career catapulted to success in 2008 when he joined the Project Runway television series and became the season four winner. He was also included in Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2018.
