Regent's entrepreneurial spirit comes out on top

Regent’s University London is the university that develops the highest percentage of company founders in the UK, according to this list first featured on Resume.io.

Cited amongst other entrepreneurial UK universities, including Oxford and Cambridge, Regent’s has come out on top of the league table. The article by The Ladders concludes that ‘the school with the highest density of founders is the less well-known Regent’s University London.’

The study by Resume.io also found that 12.2% of Regent’s graduates go on to form their own companies, proving that the odds are high for Regent’s graduates to become entrepreneurs.

Professor Geoff Smith, Vice-Chancellor & CEO at Regent's, said: ‘I am delighted that Regent's has been recognised in this way. We have a wonderful, global, alumni community of founders and entrepreneurs of which we’re extremely proud. We believe our students learn best when they’re challenged, when they’re making things happen, and collaborating in teams on live projects where our entrepreneurial spirit can really shine through.’

Regent’s focus has always been on developing future leaders and changemakers, equipping its graduates with the tools they will need for business in a fast-changing world. Regent’s alumni have gone on to start their own businesses in a range of sectors across the world. You can read more about Regent’s alumni and see their stories here
