Regent’s lecturer collaborates with Black Lives Matter UK

Dr Ken Fero, film producer and lecturer on BA Film & Screen at Regent’s is working in collaboration with Black Lives Matter UK.

His film production company, Migrant Media, is working with Black Lives Matter – in collaboration with political and cultural grassroots organisations across the UK for a tour of his award-winning documentary film, Ultraviolence.

The tour will run across 10 UK cities, including Cardiff, Manchester, and Edinburgh for special screenings of Ultraviolence, a powerful documentary about resistance to police violence. The tour will feature the families of people killed by the police, the filmmakers, as well as local and BLM activists.

Dr Fero, who lectures in Film & Screen at Regent's said: ‘This cutting-edge tour will be a great opportunity for our students to get engaged in learning about how documentaries are marketed and branded. It will give them valuable industry experience as part of their learning.’
