Regent’s welcomes new Director of Development & Alumni Relations

Regent’s University London is thrilled to announce the appointment of Katerina Kantalis as the new Director of Development & Alumni Relations.

Katerina joins Regent’s from Melbourne, having most recently worked at St Vincent’s Hospital and the University of Melbourne as the Associate Director of Advancement. Like many in the Regent’s community, Katerina has studied and worked around the world – from growing up in Adelaide, Australia, to studying biochemistry at the University of Oxford.

Regent's welcomes Katerina Kantalis

‘I’m excited to be a part of this vibrant and international group of alumni. No matter where you are in the world, you know that there will be someone from Regent’s to reach out to,’ Kantalis said of her new appointment.

‘This is an opportunity for me to meet alumni and friends from around the world and learn more about how we can help make a positive difference to our global reach and influence.’

The Development and Alumni community brings together students from over 160 countries worldwide, where they are able to access a wide range of benefits. Katerina will continue to build Regent’s alumni programme and help inspire those who want to give back to Regent’s. Alumni can continue to be part of the Regent’s family through volunteering, mentoring, sharing their stories, hosting Regent’s clubs or participating in events.

Kantalis commented: ‘Alumni support is critical to everything that Regent’s does, as they enable us to go beyond the basics of a university and help contribute to the development of a new generation of global leaders.’

Outside of the office, Katerina is still very excited about science, especially with new concepts such as 3D bioprinting -she has witnessed scientists bioprinting an ear and a 3D titanium heel, which was implanted into a patient’s foot.
