Students receive the Dr Nicholas Bowen Award 2024

Jonathan Glaso and Nur Fadhilah Herwansyah are the latest recipients of the Dr Nicholas Bowen Award. 

The Dr Nicholas Bowen Award for Excellence was established in 2017, at the wish of Dr Nicholas Bowen. Dr Bowen was instrumental in the success of international business at Regent’s from 1980 to 2012. He was awarded an Honorary Senior Fellowship in 2017, which he was honoured to accept. He was also President of the Chartered Institute of Linguists from 2012 until his death, having worked with the institute for more than 25 years.

Today, the Dr Nicholas Bowen Award for Excellence offers £2,000 to students who best demonstrates exceptional academic performance, the spirit of enterprise, a commitment to internationalism and an ability to build community spirit amongst the student body.
