We’re deeply saddened by the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. We send our deepest sympathies and sincere condolences to His Majesty King Charles III and the Royal Family as we join the nation, and world, in mourning.
Her Majesty was a global leader without parallel. She tirelessly served the nation, Commonwealth, and world for seven decades. During her reign, the world changed more rapidly than ever before whilst Her Majesty’s sense of duty and devotion to service never wavered. Her gentle but firm leadership was admirable, as was her ability to adapt to the changing times she lived through.
As tenants in royal Regent’s Park, and on a campus opened by Her Majesty Queen Mary in 1913, the community at Regent’s University London has always felt a strong connection to, and affinity for, Her Majesty and the Royal Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this time of mourning.
