'My entrepreneurial spirit grew whilst at Regent’s'

Paul Boulet’s business, Click, is a full-service media marketing agency, helping clients achieve big results. A recent partnership garnered a 3000% increase in sales, and another delivered nearly one million Instagram impressions.

As a BA (Hons) International Business alumnus from Switzerland, Paul embraced the opportunity to live and study in London, build a network of friends from all over the world and develop new languages skills on his year abroad.

So much about Paul’s experience at Regent’s prepared him to launch Click in 2020. He believes that his 'entrepreneurial spirit grew whilst at Regent’s' and acknowledges 'the diversity in the curriculum allowed me to touch on so many disciplines and courses – I got a taste of everything. The final year business plan project confirmed to me that I was an entrepreneur, and I was able to have this realisation whilst learning so much about business.'

Outside of the classroom, Paul undertook two internships in London. First in the finance sector, and second, at a start-up, gaining workplace experience alongside his degree. He also spent a year overseas – one semester in Madrid and the other in Valencia. 'I was able to develop my language skills, build my confidence and meet new people – it was an amazing experience'.

Upon graduating, Paul undertook an MSc in Sports Management at Columbia University in New York before working for sports agencies in London and Paris. It was at this point Paul saw a gap in the market for building brand visibility for small and medium-sized business through social media.

Click, with a database of 120 million social media influencers, already has a strong track record of delivering for clients. Building a brand’s visibility is key, and Click has helped a new Parisian fashion brand gain 8000 Instagram followers and achieve over 700,000 impressions in just three weeks. It also helped a US business secure a 300% increase in takings on an important sales day – demonstrating the impact of social media and the value of getting expert help!

Paul’s advice for young and aspiring entrepreneurs is to 'have clear short- and long-term objectives. You can’t do everything overnight, so knowing where you're going and how you will get there is important.'

Click has grown during the pandemic and now employs a team of five. 'It's important to spend your money wisely and be careful not to have all your eggs in one basket – diversity is key, where you can. For those in content creation, always verify the quality and integrity – good advice for any industry'.
