Visa information
If you are an ‘overseas’ student (not from the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland), then you will need a visa to study in the UK.
There are two types of student visa:
- The Short-term study visa is for students on a full-time course lasting for a maximum of 6 months
- The Student visa is for students on a full-time course lasting longer than 6 months
Before you can make your visa application, you must have a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) statement from Regent’s University London. Regent’s is a Student visa sponsor and we are authorised to issue a CAS by UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI).
