In partnership with author Robert McKee, we're honoured to offer this scholarship to one student per term, studying Screenwriting and Producing or Screenwriting and Producing with Foundation.

Robert McKee
Robert McKee, a Fulbright Scholar, is the most sought-after screenwriting lecturer around the globe – having dedicated 30 years to educating and mentoring screenwriters, poets, novelists, playwrights, documentary makers, producers and directors internationally.
McKee’s former students include over 60 Academy Award winners, 200 Academy Award nominees, 200 Emmy Award winners, 1000 Emmy Award nominees, 100 WGA (Writers Guild of America) Award winners, 250 WGA Award nominees, 50 DGA (Directors Guild of America) Award winners and 100 DGA Award nominees.

Please include your full name, nationality and student number within the email.
Submit a short film script
Please submit a short film script, in correct screenplay formatting, of up to five minutes in length and a 1,000 word statement answering the following question:
- ‘Why would being a Robert McKee International Screenwriting scholar be important to you?’
If your application is shortlisted
If shortlisted, you will be invited to interview (face-to-face or online) with members of the Film, Media & Performance team at Regent’s. You will be asked to discuss your short drama script and points from your statement, as well as answer other interview questions.
