Dr Stephen Ellis has been appointed Associate Editor of the Journal of Management Education – a pre-eminent journal for business and management studies.
The journal, which has been operating for more than 40 years, strives to publish academic research that tests, extends or develops management theory and contributes to enhance the field of management development, practice, and research.
On his appointment, Dr Ellis said that: ‘From my time working as an international management development practitioner in financial services, I am acutely aware of the challenges managers face trying to grow and develop while doing their day job.
‘I was invited to take on this role as a direct result of serving on the Chartered Association of Business Schools Executive Education committee, which shows the value of getting involved with professional bodies. The role will help me keep up to date with the latest in management thinking and use this to guide my own work with my colleagues at Regent's.
‘I am really looking forward to working with both new and experienced authors who seek to enhance our thinking about management practice at this very demanding time.’
