Regent's student storms the runway at Málaga Fashion Week

Macarena Yagüe displayed her designs at Andalucia's most prominent fashion show

Earlier this month, Regent's student Macarena Yagüe displayed her designs at Andalucia's most prominent fashion show. The third year fashion design student presented her iconic piece, Cuore, at the Pasarela Larios, which took place on 15 and 16 September.

Steven Dell, course leader in Fashion & Design, said: 'It's such a great recognition of [Macarena's] creativity, vision and hard work during the summer vacation.'

The Pasarela Larios, now in its twelfth year, is an annual fashion show representing Andalucian and international fashion. It takes place in Calle Larios and is attended by almost 30,000 people over two days. It is the longest fashion runway in Europe, taking place on an iconic cobalt blue carpet more than 300 metres long. The initial concept of the event was to present the best of Málaga's creativity and it still does, alongside designers and firms from Argentina, Costa Rica, Morocco, Paris, Saudi Arabia, Monaco, Italy and more.
