This course teaches you the fundamentals of business, as well as the tools and techniques to manage others, navigate change, and achieve business success – adapting your style and approach to unique settings, personalities and challenges.

What to expect?
Drawing on recent case studies and authentic employer engagement, you’ll gain a true insight into the different styles of leadership and the practical tools needed to innovate and implement new initiatives. You’ll explore, and begin to embody, the roles and traits of a leader – taking on a range of managerial responsibilities within real business scenarios, before critically reflecting on your performance to improve your techniques.
In your final term, you’ll complete a dissertation or major project, exploring something that interests you, such as gender inequality or the impact of automation on leadership. You’ll graduate feeling confident to lead projects and teams in a variety of industries – utilising innovative new practices and strategies.

Foundation year
In your Foundation year, you'll gain a solid grounding in academic skills and principles, as well as an introduction to your chosen subject area. It will provide a rich and varied experience to ensure you’re prepared for degree-level study in the UK – ready to develop specialist knowledge and confidently make the most of your course.
Some modules will be taken with students heading towards the same or related subject areas, while others will be taken with a blend of students – enabling you to mix with peers who bring a range of different perspectives and experiences to the classroom. You’ll take two modules related to your subject area and eight shared modules covering key skills like communication, critical thinking, cultural understanding, politics, data, creativity and entrepreneurship.
Once you’ve successfully completed your Foundation year, you’ll directly progress to Year 1 of your chosen degree-level course.
