Liberal Arts: face your future
A Liberal Arts degree enables you to think broadly and critically, to problem-solve, to write clearly and convincingly and to become socially and culturally aware. Our flexible, wide-ranging and multi-disciplinary curriculum enables you to specialise in a particular field while tailoring your studies to suit your own interests – challenging you to be adaptable, think independently and make connections across subject areas.
By completing an additional Foundation year first, you’ll gain a solid introduction to the knowledge and skills needed to progress to degree level, taking a broad look at topics like international relations, business, psychology and media studies while learning the basic concepts of data analysis and scientific understanding, and developing your critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills – a useful entry point if you're uncertain which major you'd like to follow.
Once you’ve successfully completed your Foundation year, you can begin Year 1 of your degree – majoring in your chosen subject area, while choosing from a wide variety of elective modules, spanning all majors. You'll graduate as a critical thinker and a global leader, equipped to tackle current and future issues worldwide, across a range of disciplines.
